Let's Start Trading Stocks

I've been stock trading and investing for over 20 years. Some of those years have been good and some years have been "not so good." But through the years, I have learned techniques and gained the confidence to trade on an active basis.

Stock trading last year (2008) was my best year ever. I bet short on the market and came up big. And I learned some great techniques to minimize the risk!

So the goal of this blog is to share the ideas and techniques I use for stock trading. I rely on a lot of the ideas presented by Larry Connors in his book Short Term Trading Strategies That Work. I encourage you to get this book and learn the techniques presented.

The second goal of this blog is to give you some daily stock trading picks that you can follow. We'll look at the technical indicators that suggest a profitable stock trade. So please bookmark this site and check in around 3 PM for a selection of stock picks that we can follow and analyse.

I'm open to your ideas and comments as well. Perhaps we can all become better traders!
